Inspection Info - Overview
AirCare inspects light-duty vehicles to ensure their emission levels are within allowable Canadian standards. In its first 18 years of operation (1992-2010) the AirCare program found one in three vehicles to be faulty and in need of repair. Fixing faulty vehicles has resulted in a 33% reduction in total vehicle emissions. Read more about program benefits.
