AirCare to Commemorate Earth Day 2010

Burnaby, BC - AirCare will join thousands of organizations and millions of people in Canada and around the world in celebrating Earth Day on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
First launched in the US in 1970, Earth Day is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment, and to raise awareness of environmental issues. Individuals, community groups and organizations participate in events and projects that highlight the importance of protecting the environment for future generations.
AirCare will commemorate Earth Day by providing customers with helpful information on the little steps they can take to safeguard the air we breathe and the fragile environment we depend on to survive.
Customers who visit an AirCare station tomorrow will receive an AirCare CO2 footprint magnet and a handout which will give them helpful tips on making smarter driving choices. This information will help motorists better understand how their greener driving habits can help reduce the impact their vehicles have on environment.
