2004 AirCare AirWaves Scholarship Recipients
The AirCare program and its partners the British Columbia Medical Association, British Columbia Lung Association, David Suzuki Foundation, Environmental Youth Alliance and Envirotest Canada, are pleased to announce the winners of the 2004 AirCare AirWaves Radio Scholarship Contest.
2004 AirWaves Scholarship Recipient #1
Laura Peters is a Grade 12 student from New Westminster Secondary School in New Westminster. For her winning entry, Laura received a $750 scholarship for her post-secondary education and earned a $250 grant for her school to fund an environmental initiative of the school's choosing. Laura plans to use the scholarship to complete a music degree and attend Columbia Bible College in the fall.

2004 AirWaves Scholarship Recipient #2
Carly Rheault is a Grade 12 student from Robert McMath Secondary School in Richmond. For her winning entry, Carly received a $750 scholarship for her post-secondary education and earned a $250 grant for her school to fund an environmental initiative of the school's choosing. Carly plans to use the scholarship to take a business entrepreneur course at Kwantlen College and eventually open up her own retail bike shop.

2004 AirWaves Scholarship Recipient #3
Daniel Simmons is a Grade 12 student from New Westminster Secondary School in New Westminster. For his winning entry, Daniel received a $750 scholarship for his post-secondary education and earned a $250 grant for his school to fund an environmental initiative of the school's choosing. Daniel is a member of the New Westminster Secondary Jazz and Concerts bands. He plans to attend either SFU or UBC in the future.
