2005 AirCare AirWaves Scholarship Recipients
The AirCare program and its partners the British Columbia Medical Association, British Columbia Lung Association, David Suzuki Foundation, Environmental Youth Alliance and Envirotest Canada, are pleased to announce the winners of the 2005 AirCare AirWaves Radio Scholarship Contest.
2005 AirWaves Scholarship Recipient #1
Korryn (Kory) Bodner is a Grade 12 student from Mennonite Educational Institute Secondary School in Abbotsford. For her winning entry, Kory was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for use toward her post-secondary education and her school received a $250 grant to support an environmental initiative at the school. Kory plans to attend UBC this fall.

Ace Dixon is a Grade 12 student from Burnaby Mountain Secondary School. For his winning entry, Ace was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for use toward his post-secondary education and his school received a $250 grant to support an environmental initiative at the school. Ace plans to attend SFU in the fall.
